چکیده
Abstract The term “over-skidding” indicates that the cage rotational speed ratio exceeds theoretical value as ball purely rolls on raceway. Different from skidding phenomenon occurs in low-load and high-speed bearing, over-skidding usually large-size angular contact bearings, it is still difficult to suppress under high load conditions. main forms of damage raceway by are spinning gyro slip. To further explore vibration characteristics thermal effects this phenomenon, a set tests an bearing with bore diameter 220 mm were conducted industrial-size test bench. Through experiment, influence axial load, speed, lubrication conditions occurrence determined. Based previous dynamics model, heat generation network models integrated present study predict its behavior. model was validated terms measured degree temperature rise. results showed reaches up 12% value, friction power loss ball-pocket accounts for 30% total loss. analysis signal strong correlation between behavior, thereby providing way indirectly measure over-skidding.

Dynamic Analysis of a Rotor Supported on Ball Bearings with Waviness and Centralizing Springs and Squeeze Film Dampers
Squeeze film dampers (SFDs) are often used in machines with high rotational speed to reduce non-periodic behavior by creating external damping. There are some structural parameters which are of great importance in designing these systems, such as oil film thickness and inner race mass of SFD. Moreover, there is a crucial parameter associated with manufacturing process, under the title of wavine...
متن کاملVibrational Analysis of a Ball Bearing
The project presents an analysis of the vibrational behavior of a deep groove ball bearing with a structurally integrated force sensor. The miniaturized force sensor, accommodated within a slot on the bearings outer ring, provides online condition monitoring capability to the bearing. Analytical and finite element models are developed to predict the sensor output due to bearing dynamic load and...
متن کاملFilm Stiffness Analysis for Angular Contact Ball Bearings Considering Thermal Effect
In order to more accurately calculate the film stiffness of angular contact ball bearing, it is necessary to establish the film stiffness calculation model that is consistent with reality. The frictional heat exists in high-speed ball bearings, and can impact on oil film thickness and stiffness. The calculation model of film stiffness of an angular contact ball bearing taking account of the eff...
متن کاملNonlinear vibration signature analysis of a rotor supported ball bearings
The dynamic behaviour of a high speed balanced rotor supported on deep groove ball bearings (SKF-6205) has been studied by numerically simulated results. Since, internal radial clearance (IRC) is inevitably present in all class and types of bearing, in this paper it (IRC-C3) is considered as main source of nonlinearity with speed as control parameter. The complex mathematical model simulates no...
متن کاملInvestigating the Dynamics of a Ball-Spring Autobalancer in a Rotor with Non-Linear Bearings
Although the traditional automatic ball balancer (ABB) has numerous advantages, it has two major deficiencies, i.e., it has a limited balance stable region and it increases the vibration amplitude of the rotor at transient state. These deficiencies limit the applicability of ABBs. In this regard, a new type of ABB called “the Ball-spring autobalancer” has been proposed to resolve the mentioned ...
